Non-skippable commercials may appear in NBA 2K21

According to Stevivor, 2K, which publishes the basketball simulator NBA 2K21, decided not to stand aside in the time of massive advertising integration in all sorts of places and decided to implement the import of commercials into loading screens.

Recently, a similar system was supposed to be integrated into UFC 4, but after a reddit thread was created and fans outraged, the developers called it a "conducted experiment", thanked everyone for the feedback and removed these inserts.

Last year, the company wanted to introduce such an ad in NBA 2K20 and then the public did not like the idea either. Unlike UFC 4, the basketball simulator "pleases" users with casino elements with their own roulettes, blackjack and other things that are due for fans to spend their hard-earned money on cards in the game.

Based on what the Stevivor reporters are saying, ad integrations will appear in all game modes. During downloads, videos from 2KTV will appear, in which the developers will air shows discussing various topics related to basketball. If, in the case of 2KTV, the show can be ignored and present with the placement of players on the field before the match, then with advertising integration this focus will not work. Sponsored videos will prevent players from skipping them and starting an immediate player placement, even if the download has been completed.
