Multiplayer in Resident Evil: Village to be?

Every day rumors around the multiplayer Resident Evil: Village are overgrown with more and more details. It looks like it will appear in the upcoming Capcom game.

This is indirectly evidenced by the mention of the multiplayer mode in the Steam database. However, the whole truth should be revealed tomorrow.

On the night of January 22, Capcom will host an online presentation dedicated to the Village. They promise to show a new trailer, tell about the features, and also demonstrate fresh gameplay. Perhaps there is no better moment to announce multiplayer in the RE universe.

As it became known from the already long-standing leaks, most likely the multiplayer game will become a separate project in the Resident Evil universe. The closest analogue can be called Warzone, which acts as a "connecting link" of various games in the series. If the leaks are to be believed, this is the concept that Capcom wants to adhere to.
