Far Cry series will get comics

According to the Comic Book portal, Dark Horse will work with Ubisoft to release a comic series based on the Far Cry series.

The comic book will be called Far Cry: Rite of Passage. The plot will be based on the stories of the villains of the last three numbered parts of the franchise - the leader of the pirates of the island of Ruk Vaasa Montenegro, the king of the Kirat state Pagan Min and the head of the "New Eden" sect Joseph Seed. The storyteller will be Anton Castillo, the antagonist of Far Cry 6 that has not yet been released, and his 13-year-old son Diego will be the listener. Note that the first issue of the comic will appear on May 19.

Recall that Far Cry 6 was announced in the summer of 2020, and the game was originally planned to be released in February 2021. However, later Ubisoft postponed the release of the game to the next fiscal year (from April 2021 to March 2022). The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, as well as Amazon Luna and Google Stadia cloud services.
