S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be sold on GOG

The developers of STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl decided to take a different path and refuse to add anti-piracy protection to the game. The title of the Ukrainian studio will be sold on GOG.

The store lists the game's release date as December 31, 2023. With a high probability, this date may not be accurate, since the store needs to indicate the release date, and the developers are not yet sure when the game will be released. The game will be distributed in three variations: standard edition, deluxe edition and ultimate edition. Users can pick up the first one for $60, the deluxe edition will cost $80, and the ultimate edition will have the highest price tag at $110.

In the game, Russian localization will be implemented only in the form of text. The voice acting of the game will appear only in Ukrainian and English.

GOG is a well-known store of the Polish company CD Projekt RED, which is famous for the lack of anti-piracy protection. Whether this will be added to other stores where the developers are going to publish STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl is currently unknown.
