At the end of the first stage, the eight best teams will move on to the second stage, joining the eight teams that qualified through the regional leagues:

  • Eight teams from the first stage of the Major
  • Two teams from the EU League
  • Two teams from the NA League
  • Two teams from Brazil League
  • One team from Japan League
  • One team from South Korea League

At the end of the second stage, the eight best teams will advance to the playoffs, where they will compete for the right to become the winner of the Major. The total prize pool of each major will be $750,000.

It is reported that the organizers will evaluate the capabilities of each region and may change the regional distribution of participants in the future.

Regional leagues

Europe

In Europe, two options for qualifying for the Major will be offered: the Open Championship and the EU League, where ten partner teams will compete.

The Open Championship for Europe will be a kind of qualification, consisting of open qualifiers and a playoff stage. Based on the results of the open championship, four teams will advance to the Last Chance Qualifier.

The EU League will be played in a two-tier competitive format:

  • The top six finishers will advance to the playoffs, while the 7th to 10th place teams will advance to the Open Championship playoffs.
  • The two best teams will qualify for the second stage of the major, the 3rd place will go to the first stage of the major, while the rest of the participants will advance to the Last Chance Qualifier.

Ultimately, the winner of the Last Chance Qualifier also guarantees participation in the Major.

North America

In North America, there will also be two options for qualifying for the Major: the Open Championship and the NA League, where ten partner teams will compete. The general scheme is identical to the proposed option for Europe.

Brazil

Brazil will also offer two options for qualifying for the Major: the Open Championship and the Brazil League, where ten partner teams will compete. The general scheme is identical to the proposed options for Europe and North America.

Japan

Japan will also offer two options for qualifying for the Major: the Open Championship and the Japan League, where eight partner teams will compete. The winner of the Japan League will advance to the second stage of the major, while the second team from the Japan League and the winner of the Last Chance Qualifier will advance to the first stage of the major.

South Korea

South Korea will also offer two options for qualifying for the Major: the Open Championship and the South Korea League, where eight partner teams will compete. The selection system for the Major is identical to that proposed in Japan.

Latin America

In Latin America, there will also be two options for qualifying for the Major: open championships for both parts of Latin America and the LATAM League, where eight partner teams will compete. The champion of the LATAM League qualifies for the second stage of the major, while the winner of the Last Chance Qualifier will receive a place in the first stage of the major.

Southeast Asia

In Southeast Asia, two options for qualifying for the Major will also be offered: open championships for both parts of Southeast Asia and the Asia League, where sixteen partner teams will compete (eight participants for the South and North). The top two teams from the Last Chance Qualifier will qualify for the Major from the region.

Oceania

In Oceania, an open selection system will operate, from where seven teams will advance to the Oceania League. The winner of the Oceania League will receive a ticket to the Major.

Near East

There will also be an open selection system in the Middle East, from where seven teams will advance to the MENA League. The winner of the MENA League qualifies for the Major.

Changes in the selection system for the Six Invitational

During the 2023 season, teams will collect ranking points, which will serve as the main criterion for qualifying for the Six Invitational 2024, scheduled for February in Brazil. As a result, the top twenty teams of the season will receive tickets to the Six Invitational 2024.

At the regional level, teams will be ranked based on their performance in the Major qualifiers and score points accordingly. At the international level, teams will score points based on their performance at each Major. At the end of each stage, the points that the team will receive for performances at the Major will be added to the points already scored at the regional level.
