Laptops with RTX 3060 graphics cards are in demand among miners

According to the Hardware Times portal, miners from China, South Korea and Taiwan bought all laptops with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics cards.

It turned out that NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 mobile video cards are shipped without any restrictions on Ethereum mining. The demand is also boosted by the relatively low cost of new laptops, which can be purchased within the $ 1,000 range. Note that the desktop versions of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 have approximately the same cost. Moreover, miners receive not only a hash rate comparable to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super graphics cards, but also reduced power consumption.

Recall that NVIDIA began to fight hard with miners at the end of February by limiting the performance of Ethereum mining on GeForce RTX 3060 video cards. Due to the rise in cryptocurrency prices, there is a shortage of video cards on the market. Given the situation, Chinese miners have also started buying laptops with better GPUs based on the Ampere architecture.
