The author of Final Fantasy VII is asking fans to refrain from demanding the deaths of specific characters
FantasyKazushige Nojima, the lead writer for Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth, has reached out to his fans on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter) with a request to stop demanding the destruction of the characters he has created.
In a tweet, he emphasized, "I write each character with love. You are free to have your opinions and ideas, but please stop sending me messages demanding the removal or even the killing of certain characters."

Nojima also expressed his reluctance to block or mute too many fans and has no plans to close his account.
It's worth noting that Nojima had previously collaborated on the script for the original Final Fantasy VII game and contributed to the development of Final Fantasy VIII, X, X-2, as well as the animated film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
He also played a role in creating the original Kingdom Hearts game and served as the main writer for Kingdom Hearts II.
He has returned to the world of Final Fantasy VII to take on the role of a writer and scenario author for the Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, with the latter set to be released on February 29.
The creative director of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Tetsuya Nomura, recently revealed that the game, the second part of a planned trilogy for the Final Fantasy VII remake, concludes with events in the Forgotten Capital.
Without revealing any spoilers, it's worth mentioning that the Forgotten Capital is the location of one of the most talked-about "shocking" plot twists in Final Fantasy history. As a result, it appears that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth may end with this moment, preparing players for the third installment.
The game's director, Naoki Hamaguchi, also told the Indonesian website Gamebrott that players can expect a "major surprise" in relation to the events in that scene.
