In line with the actual actions taken by our partners in FIFA and UEFA, this update includes the removal of the Russian national team and all other Russian teams.
- The company changed a number of paraphernalia associated with teams from the Russian Federation, and also removed the ability to decorate the stadium in the colors of the Russian tricolor.
- Removed Otkritie Bank Arena.
- Removed the Russian national team and other Russian teams (CSKA, Spartak and Lokomotiv).
- The favorite club selection was changed to PSG if the Russian national team or any other Russian team was previously selected.
- The Russian national team and other Russian teams are no longer available in any competition when starting a new save.
Note that Russian players are still available in FIFA 22. Electronic Arts promised to remove Russian clubs and teams from FIFA 22 and NHL 22 back in March. The company has not commented further since then.
