Rogue's Rainbow Six roster becomes part of KOI
Esports organizations Rogue and KOI have finally announced a strategic merger. As a result, the composition of the North American Rainbow Six discipline club became part of the Spanish organization. Thus, one of the strongest teams in Europe will continue to perform on stage under the KOI tag.
Thanks to everyone who joined us today as we begin this new phase as KOI. We owe everything to you, the fans. No matter what, we will always be crooks at heart. Let's take Rogue one last time as we invite you to write the next chapter of KOI with us.
Last season, the Rogue roster managed to win the Six Berlin Major 2022, and also take the second place in the European League 2022 - Stage 2. Despite the failure in Stage 3, the European team secured a direct entry to the Six Invitational 2023, finishing 7th in the leaderboard and gaining 960 points.
Note that similar transfers have occurred in League of Legends. The Rogue organization currently retains its Rocket League roster, however the division's future remains unknown. The merger is likely to affect this club as well, as the KOI founder saw discipline as a major asset in the initial statement.
