Activision Blizzard president leaves the company with a scandal

Allen Brack, president of Activision Blizzard, is stepping down as the company faces legal action over sexual harassment and gender discrimination. He will be replaced by former Vicarious Visions head Jennifer O'Neill and former Xbox Vice President Mike Ibarra. Activision Blizzard announced this in a letter to the studio staff.

According to the letter, Brack left Blizzard to "take advantage of the new opportunities." Where he will continue his career is unknown. The change of leadership took place against the backdrop of a scandal at the company, which was accused of corporate sexism.

Activision Blizzard has tolerated a culture of "corporate sexism" in the company, according to a California Department lawsuit. Male employees regularly commented on the appearance of their female colleagues and felt them. In addition, the company allowed for celebrations in the workplace. During these sessions, employees consumed "copious amounts" of alcohol and behaved inappropriately towards women in the office.

This constant sexual harassment even led to the suicide of the employee. She committed suicide on a business trip after being subjected to intense sexual harassment.

Allen Brack, President of Blizzard, was one of the individuals named in the lawsuit. He allegedly knew about this behavior within the company and did nothing to stop him.
