Rocksteady announces that alpha testers of Suicide Squad can now share their experiences

Rocksteady Studios has informed participants of the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League alpha test that they are now allowed to share their impressions of the game.

Last year, alpha testing allowed players to experience the early levels of the game, but participants were required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), prohibiting them from discussing the test in public places.

Although participants still do not have the right to publish images or videos from the test, they are now encouraged to share their experiences with the game before its official release next month.

The partial lifting of the NDA follows the recent publication of a series of reviews for Suicide Squad, which note that the game does not seem to intend to make revolutionary changes to the superhero genre, as the Arkham series from Rocksteady did.

"Now that more detailed information about the game is available, and players are asking, we no longer insist on compliance with part of the NDA and provide players with an opportunity to discuss their experience from the closed alpha test," Rocksteady stated.

"We have heard requests from the community and want to give players the opportunity to discuss what it's like to explore Metropolis as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark."

After several delays, the release date for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set for February 2, 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.

Last month, the PC version's release on the Epic Games Store experienced an additional delay to March 5.

Upon launch, the game will require an internet connection to play, but following fan protests, Rocksteady has confirmed plans to introduce an offline mode after the release.
