Bloober Team is developing a licensed game for Skybound, the owner of The Walking Dead

Bloober Team has entered a partnership with Skybound, the owner of franchises like Invincible and Impact Winter, to adapt an undisclosed IP. Known for their horror titles such as Layers of Fear, Observer, Blair Witch, and The Medium, Bloober Team's CEO, Piotr Babieno, affirmed their contribution of "horror know-how" to Skybound's newly revealed game, codenamed R, set for a 2025 release.

While Bloober's next anticipated project is a Silent Hill 2 remake for Konami without a confirmed launch date, the studio recently assured fans about the game's progress. They expressed gratitude for fans' anticipation while urging patience for forthcoming updates from Konami, the game's publisher.

Additionally, Bloober is developing a new survival horror IP for Private Division, a publishing label under Take-Two. Set in the early stages of development, this game isn't expected to release before 2025.
