WePlay Academy League Season 3: VP.Prodigy beat Eternal Fire Academy

The VP.Prodigy team beat Eternal Fire Academy at WePlay Academy League Season 3 and reached the final of the Play-In stage. Now the team will meet with Spirit Academy, playing a ticket to the LAN-finals in Kiev.

The meeting between VP.Prodigy and Eternal Fire Academy started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of the Turkish team. The game went on in an equal vein, since none of the teams could get ahead in the score, and at the same time seize the initiative. As a result, the teams went to overtime, where the Eternal Fire Academy players turned out to be stronger — 22:19.

Next, the teams moved to the Ancient map, which became the choice of VP.Prodigy. However, no fight was foreseen here, since by the end of the first half the Russian team gained a huge advantage in the score, not allowing the opponent to adapt in defense. The second half also ended quickly, as VP.Prodigy very confidently got the necessary rounds to even the score in the series - 16:3.

Everything was decided on the Vertigo map, to which the Turkish team approached with confusion in their eyes. As a result, the first half ended with another defeat from VP.Prodigy, which once again showed a confident attack, actually resolving all issues in advance. After switching sides, Eternal Fire Academy tried to bounce back. However, the advantage earned at the start was enough for the Russian team to win - 16:6.

WePlay Academy League Season 3 runs from January 3rd to February 13th. Ten teams compete for a prize pool of $100,000, of which $45,000 will go to the winner of the championship.
