The Association of Professional Players in the Americas is officially established
Today, December 22, the creation of the Association of Professional Players in the Americas was officially announced. Tailored, the former coach of the TSM team, will lead the group of e-sportsmen.
We are working to bring together representatives from all major teams in the American Community to represent players from the VALORANT scene across the Americas. The mission of this group is to ensure that players are given full protection of their rights as athletes. Immediate goals include marking the lead, launching a database of contracts, and creating protection for players of all levels. We will work to expand the opportunities available to all players by establishing a legal program, providing educational tools, and building a network of advisors for support. By working together, VALORANT players can not only protect each other, but truly thrive in the growing esports industry. Every player deserves a vote.
As part of its operations, the new body will be committed to protecting pro players while establishing a healthy relationship with Riot Games to further improve the scene. In addition, any member of the competitive scene will be open to discussion with the Association.
It is noted that the Association is not funded by Riot Games and has no ties to the publisher, but will work closely with the company to resolve pressing issues. The association, which has been active since its inception, consists of approximately 30 PRO players with external support provided by members of the LCS Players Association.

The activities of the Association of Professional Players extend to the participants of the combined scene in North and South America. It is likely that the organ will also support TIER-2 scenes, as was reported at the initial ESE report in August.
