Female eventsRiot Games has unveiled the first details of the upcoming Game Changers Championship. The first major championship for women's teams will take place from 15 to 20 November in Berlin.
Today we are happy to share more details about the Game Changers Championship, which will take place later this year. Throughout 2022, teams from all over the world competed in regional events for a chance to qualify for the first-ever global Game Changers event. The best teams from all over the world will take part in this tournament.
The distribution of places in the Game Changers Championship is as follows:
- North America - two teams.
- Brazil is one team.
- Latin America is one team.
- EMEA (Turkey, Europe and CIS) - two teams.
- East Asia is one team.
- Asia and the Pacific is one team.
Teams will be offered a classic double elimination bracket, with seeding distributed according to the competitiveness of each region and the number of players. The organizers also promised to provide detailed information about the championship just before the start of the Game Changers Championship.
Teams vying for the right to compete in the Game Changers Championship: G2 Gozen, Guild X, Cloud9 White, Shopify Rebellion, Team Liquid Brazil, Alter Ego Celestè and KRÜ Fem.
