Invites to PCS5 Europe Grand Finals Announced

The organizers have announced the list of teams that have received an invitation to the PCS5 Europe Grand Finals. In total, eight European teams received invites, including Virtus.pro and Natus Vincere. The PCS5 Europe Grand Finals itself will take place online from 2 to 29 August.

The PUBG Continental Series (PCS) 5 is a global tournament that will take place in Europe, North America, Asia and Asia Pacific. In Europe, the top 16 teams in the region will compete for a prize pool of over $ 250,000. In addition, participants will compete for PGC Ranking Points, while the winner of the PCS5 Europe Grand Finals will receive a slot at PGC 2021. The rest of the participants will be determined by regional qualifiers.

The open qualifiers will be divided into three regions: Western Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. There will be hundreds of teams competing, but only the best 16 will make it to the Regional Playoff, where they will join the 8 invited teams. At the Regional Playoff, teams will play 18 matches, after which the top 3 teams in each region will be selected based on total points and will advance to the Grand Finals, and these 9 teams will then join the 7 invited teams in the Grand Finals.
