Aitzy leaves FaZe Clan

The North American esports organization FaZe Clan announced another change in the PUBG starting roster after parting ways with Aitzy. The 24-year-old Norwegian has been with the team for over four years but will now be forced to look for a new club.

Four years in FaZe Clan. 1554 days. In fact, my entire career. Throughout my career, I have experienced a wide range of emotions, from being the absolute best team in the world to being one of the best teams struggling to open up. I will always cherish this time in FaZe Clan as it was the best part of my life. I've met a lot of great people and made a lot of new friends, but as cliche as it sounds, all good things come to an end.

Looking back at the team, we had an atmosphere that I couldn't match. Huge potential. We just couldn't get it to work. After PGC Dubai, the team was divided on what we would do next. We either stuck with what we had and took it apart and fixed it, or made some lineup changes. In the end, management intervened to make the final decision. Throughout 2022, I joked that I was the only one left in the line-up and I was the next one to be eliminated.

I want to thank everyone who has supported me and the team over the years. It means a lot and hopefully I can keep performing and keep my dream job.

Aitzy joined FaZe Clan in November 2018, having moved from the Method camp. In just over four years, the 24-year-old Norwegian has won OGA PUBG PIT Invitational Season 2, OGN Super League Europe PUBG Invitational - Miramar, PUBG Europe League 2019 - Phase 2, GLL Grand Slam: PUBG Classic, PUBG Europe League 2019 - Phase 3 and PUBG Continental Series 2: Europe, and also made it to the top three at PGL-PUBG Fall Invitational 2018, Global Loot League Season 3, PUBG Europe League 2019 - Kick-off Cup, PUBG Global Championship 2019, PUBG Continental Series 5: Europe and PUBG Continental Series 6: Europe.

This is not the first change in the roster of the North American club, which said goodbye to D1gg3r1 and coach Didz the day before. At the same time, the organization was among the partners for the upcoming season, which will allow FaZe Clan to compete at the highest level next season.
