Ubah returns to NaVi

The leadership of the eSports organization Natus Vincere announced that Ivan 'ubah' Kapustin is resuming his activities in PUBG. The esportsman will join NaVi, the club whose flags he represented on the international stage from April to October 2018.

In the team, he will take the place of the departed Andrey 'Qwizzy' Pobedinsky.

Over the past year and a couple of months, Andrey 'Qwizzy' Pobedinsky took part with Natus Vincere in many championships and, together with his teammates, earned a total of more than $150,000 per team. The fourth and fifth seasons of PUBG Continental Series Europe ended for NaVi in fifth place, which brought in $19,000 and $20,000 respectively. Later, “Born to Win” made it to the main annual PUBG tournament, called PUBG Global Championship 2021. The prize fund of the event then amounted to $4,412,928, and, having taken 11th place out of 32 possible, Natus Vincere managed to earn $85,000.

Natus Vincere signed a PUBG roster along with Qwizzy on April 16 last year. Then they released ceh9, Bestoloch, TheTab, Orange from their duties to the organization, and they were replaced by Mellman, Qwizzy, xmpl and alya. In recent events, the team has shown mixed results. For example, in GDE Pro League Series 2, a tournament with a prize pool of 1,000 euros, the team took 3rd place and earned 200 euros. Prior to that, players took 8th place at PUBG Continental Series 6 Europe, where they earned $8,000, and took 2nd place in the G-Loot Season 5 standings, where the reward was $10,000. In other events, the team showed poor performances and, most likely, when the option of signing ubah appeared, that is why the club's management decided to make changes to the PUBG roster.

For Ivan 'ubah' Kapustin, cooperation with Natus Vincere will not be the first time. He, as mentioned earlier, already played in the "Born to Win" from April to October 2018. Together with them, he managed to win the PUBG Global Invitational 2018 CIS, where the team earned $20,000, become the champions of the Global Loot League Season 1 and win $15,000, and also take fourth place at the PUBG Global Invitational 2018 FPP, where the team received a solid reward of $60,000. Kapustin's career began in 2018 under the Grubie tag. After leaving Grubie for NaVi, and after that from Natus Vincere to FaZe Clan, the esports career took on new colors and a happy streak appeared in his esports path. Together with his teammates from FaZe, he took second place at the PUBG Global Championship 2019, where he earned $600,000. Several more championships ended in victory for the Russian, in each of which he earned $100,000 or more. For the entire time of his career, the esportsman has overcome the bar of $470,000 in prize money earned.

Ivan Kapustin has already arrived in Serbia, where he started training with his new teammates. The debut of the updated roster will take place as part of G-Loot Season 6, which will be held from July 7 to 24.
