Sea of Thieves is approaching its first season

Big changes are coming to Sea of Thieves. Already on January 28, the first season will begin in the game, after which the developers from Rare will change the game support system.

The monthly large patches will be replaced by seasonal changes. Every three months, Sea of Thieves players will receive a massive update with fresh content.

We already know about the intentions to introduce several types of events into the game. We are talking about standard events and some "live" events that will offer new mechanics and diversify the gameplay, along the way rewarding daredevils with valuable prizes.

Of course, the Seasonal System won't go without Battle Passes. In Sea of Thieves, it will be called the Plunder Pass and will provide its owners with cosmetic items and more.
