NASR Esports decided to conquer the League of Legends scene by purchasing Turkish Royal Youth. As a result of the deal, Royal Youth will be renamed NASR Esports Türkiye in anticipation of the upcoming Turkish League of Legends Championship (TCL) in 2021.

According to the press release, NASR Esports Türkiye will be run by the former Royal Youth management. However, the organization will provide strategic, financial and management support.

Royal Youth first appeared on the professional scene in 2018 and soon took the Turkish league by storm. The team quickly finished third at the TCL 2019 Winter Split and also won the 2019 TCL Summer Finals. Following their performance at the World Championship that same year, Royal Youth was unable to continue its internal success, finishing in eighth and tenth in 2020.
