From riches to riches: ex-vice president of EA becomes director of marketing for Riot Games

Jason Budge, who previously served as Vice President of Electronic Arts, is now a new employee at Riot Games. Yes, not just an employee, but the director of the marketing department. Budge will now focus on developing the Riot Games brand.

Jason Budge has more than 20 EA brands on his account, including games from the Star Wars franchise series, Apex Legends, which made a splash a year and a half ago, and others.

Last December, Riot Games decided to expand their holdings and created the publishing division Riot Forge. Its tasks include releasing other games in the League of Legends universe, expanding the game's lore and collaborating with third-party studios.
