Santorin leaves Team Liquid's League of Legends roster
The European esports organization Team Liquid has announced another change in its League of Legends roster, saying goodbye to Santorin. Recall that the 25-year-old Danish jungler played for the team for two seasons.
Thank you for all the memories, hard work and dedication you have given us over the past few years, Santorin. We wish you good luck in the next steps.
Santorin joined Team Liquid at the end of 2020, having moved from the FlyQuest camp. In two seasons, the Dane helped the team win LCS Lock-In 2021 and LCS Lock-In 2022, as well as get into the top three at LCS Spring 2021, LCS Summer 2021 and LCS Spring 2022.
It's been a hell of a bumpy road and today begins a new chapter in my career. I really wanted to lift the LCS trophy with Team Liquid, but I don't think it was meant to be. Thank you to all the fans, you are truly amazing,” wrote Santorin
According to rumors, the 25-year-old Dane will stay in North America and join the Dignitas team. In turn, the Team Liquid organization is going to build a roster around South Korean players, for which MaRin was recently signed to the role of head coach. At the same time, there is a feeling that this is not the first change in the composition of "liquid".
