Jankos leaves G2 Esports
Jankos announced his departure from the G2 Esports League of Legends roster. The 27-year-old Polish esportsman spoke about this on his personal YouTube channel, adding that he would like to try his hand at another team next season.
From my point of view, playing with the teammates that I played with was really amazing, and I am truly grateful that I got to play with all of them. We were everywhere we could be in terms of competition. As much as we get applauded at Worlds, there are a lot of people who would like to be applauded at Worlds instead of sitting at home and watching.
I've been a part of this team for so long that a change of scenery can really help me. Wherever I end up, if I really want to make the best of the last couple of years I have left, it would be good for me to play with other players, maybe in a different organization. Just to try something else.

Jankos became part of G2 Esports at the end of 2017. Over five seasons, the 27-year-old Pole won many trophies with the team, including Rift Rivals 2018: NA vs EU, Mid-Season Invitational 2019, LEC Summer 2019, LEC Summer 2020 and LEC Spring 2022.
In addition, together with the team, the esportsman got into the TOP-3 at the end of the 2018 World Championship, 2019 World Championship, 2020 World Championship and Mid-Season Invitational 2022.
However, at the last 2022 World Championship, the European team failed to reveal its full potential, as a result of which G2 Esports failed to qualify from the group, finishing fourth with one win. Probably, this failure pushed the Polish player to take the next step in his career.
