2022 LCK Summer Finals will be held in LAN format

The organizers of the 2022 LCK Summer Finals announced on social networks that the final part of the Korean League in League of Legends will be held in a LAN format. The venue will be the Gangneung Arena, which can accommodate up to 12,000 spectators. At the moment, it is not known whether all seats will be used, or for security reasons, their number will be reduced.

Gangneung Arena became famous for being one of the stadiums for the 2018 Winter Olympics. The arena will host the final matches on August 28th. The LCK is also going to hold a side event the day before, the details of which the organizers will announce later.

Recall that the 2022 LCK Summer Playoffs will be held from August 17 to 28 this year in Gangneung, South Korea. Part of the matches will be held online, and the final battles will be held in LAN format. The top 6 teams in the South Korean League will compete for championship points, with the winner receiving a slot for the 2022 Season World Championship.
