Representatives of the Hanwha Life Esports esports club pleased their fans by declaring HWE Academy players to participate in the LCK Challengers League Summer 2022 as substitutes. Thus, they moved up the career ladder and moved from the Academy League to the Challengers League.

Loky and Lure have been at Hanwha Life Esports Academy since the beginning of this year and the end of 2021, respectively. Lure has already been part of the Hanwha Life Challengers as a replacement, but for Loky this will be a new experience.

LCK Challengers League Summer 2022 runs from June 13 to August. There are 10 Korean esports organizations participating in the league: Afreeca Freecs, Brion Esports, DAMWON Gaming, DRX, Gen.G Esports, Hanwha Life Esports, KT Rolster, NRF, SANDBOX and T1.
