DAMWON Gaming KIA Assemble New Academy

A little earlier this day, one of Korea's top League of Legends esports organizations, DAMWON Gaming KIA, announced the selection of players for its "third" team.

They published a message about this on their official Twitter page along with a Google form, by filling out which, just you can submit your candidacy for joining the DWG KIA.

It is not entirely clear what exactly the organization meant by the “third” team, given that one already existed de jure and was called DAMWON Gaming Academy, which has participated in only five matches since 2020.

All that is known so far about the future 2020 World Champions Academy is that the desired age for new participants is between 15 and 16 years old. And the selection itself will be based on the merits of the guys in ranked games and local tournaments.

We will most likely see a rebranding of the academic staff of DWG KIA, which will be used much more actively than before.
