Iconic leaves Golden Guardians Academy

On the social network Twitter, the manager of the Golden Guardians Academy organization announced the departure of one of the members of the youth team. Iconic, who has been with the team for six months, leaves it.

Ethan "Ic0nic" Wilkinson is a 23-year-old jungler who has been playing for the club since 2021-11-29. During his time in the team, the team managed to play at the LCS Academy League Spring 2022, where they took 3rd place and thus secured a passage to the LCS Proving Grounds Spring 2022 with a prize pool of $100,000.

At his last tournament as part of the Golden Guardians Academy, Ic0nic and his teammates managed to get into the top three. Golden Guardians Academy took 3rd place and earned $15,000.

At the moment, the roster of the Golden Guardians Academy team is not complete, but consists of:

• Tony Top;
• Ryoma;
• Chime.

It is not yet known which roster the departed player will join.
