Kael joins SANDBOX Challengers. He will play with Envvy again

The leadership of the esports organization Gen.G Esports spoke about the changes in the youth squad for League of Legends. According to representatives of the organization, Kim 'Kael' Jin-heon will now play at a different club. It was bought by SANDBOX Gaming, which also owns the League of Legends academic roster. Gen.G Esports thanked the esportsman for the productive collaboration and said that the team is now looking forward to crossing swords with Kael on the battlefield as part of the LCK Challengers.

Kael began his career as a League of Legends player in September 2020. He signed with Gen.G Esports and played under the Gen.G Academy tag. 2 weeks after joining Gen.G Academy, the esportsman won the Ambition League and received $ 2,554 with his teammates. At the end of last year, the esportsman moved to Gen.G Challengers and started playing in the LCK Challengers league with his new teammates. The first pancake, as they say, came out lumpy and participation in the KeSPA Cup 2020 was not the most successful and the team took 5-6 place, receiving only $ 7,368 as a reward. After 4 months, Kael managed to take 3rd place at the LCK Challenger League Spring 2021 and earn $ 8,920, and in the summer, Kim Jin-hun reached the quintessence of his time on the team. Gen.G Challengers were the winners of LCK CL Summer 2021 and earned $ 25,886.

SANDBOX Gaming announced that not only Kael but also Envvy have joined their youth roster. This duo will not be the first to play together. They previously fought together for Gen.G Challengers. Lee 'Envvy' Myung-joon became a free agent on November 16.
