FaZeThe Spacestation Gaming Spartan Showdown has ended. As part of the competition, which took place online from January 13 to 14, sixteen teams from North America and Mexico competed for a total prize pool of $25,000. The winner of the tournament was the FaZe Clan team, which made a successful debut with an updated roster and unexpectedly outplayed OpTic Gaming in the grand final.
Championship for the North American team from a confident performance in the group stage, during which FaZe Clan got three wins over Six Karma (3:0), DG eSports (3:0) and Complexity Gaming (3:0) to reach the playoffs from the first line.

Here the team started right off the bat, beating Proton Gaming (3:0). However, already in the semi-finals, Royal1's wards lost to OpTic Gaming (1:3) and fell to the lower bracket. However, the team did not relax, as they managed to outplay Spacestation Gaming (3:0), Native Gaming Red (3:0) and French Toast (3:1), and at the same time get into the grand final.
In the decisive match of the championship, FaZe Clan managed to take revenge on OpTic Gaming (4:1; 4:2), thus becoming the winner of the Spacestation Gaming Spartan Showdown and earning $10,000.
