NBA 2K League starts in May

It has become known that at the end of May this year the release of NBA 2K League in virtual basketball. At the moment the organizers have already found sponsors, have held a meeting for all the players who want to join them and now they have a logotype.

The elimination round consisting of 50 matches has already been held and according to its results the organizers will learn the statistics and choose 250 best players throughout the world. In March they will have an interview with each selected esportsmen and will choose 102 participants for 17 teams.

The prize pool of the first season will be $1,000,000, and each player will sign a six-month contract with the salary of $32,000. Also, these esportsmen will get accomodation, health insurance and pension contributions.  

The tournament is more likely to be held in the Pro-Am mode, and each player will create a character for themselves, but not to play with already created characters.
