eSports was brought in the program of the Asian games in 2018 and in 2022

The information about the eSports to be added at the legislative level in the list of disciplines at the Asian Games in 2018 and in 2022 has appeared on the Internet. The agreement was signed on April 17, 2017 and it was created with a help of the eSports department of the Chinese holding Alibaba.

It is worth considering that Alibaba will fully work on the organizing of the eSports part of this competition, however, it is unknown at this moment, which games will be added to the register of disciplines.

The Asian games have been carried out every 4 years among athletes from the Asian countries since 1951. The Asian games will be hosted in Indonesia in 2018 and in the Chinese city Hangzhou in 2022.
