About a month ago, the head of Larian Studios, currently working on Baldur's Gate III, gave a lengthy interview to GameSpot. The main topic of the conversation was Baldur's Gate III, which is not surprising.

In a conversation with GameSpot, fears were confirmed regarding the release date for the next big project of Larian Studios. Sven Winke said that the game will definitely not leave Steam Early Access in 2021.

The developers are working hard to release Baldur's Gate III in 2022, but it's too early to talk about a specific release date. Vincke also said that subsequent updates will not bring dramatic changes to the game, but rather will be designed to fix existing problems.

Baldur's Gate III went to Steam Early Access on October 6, 2020. The official release of the game is scheduled for PC and Stadia.
