Intel cuts prices for Comet Lake processors
As retail availability of 10th Gen Comet Lake desktop processors improves, Intel and its retail partners have slashed prices on several SKUs, including the unlocked lineup. Given current prices, Intel processors could gain a competitive edge over AMD Ryzen processors that are struggling to keep up with demand due to TSMC's 7nm production restrictions.
The 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake processor line continues to provide great value to gamers and personal computer owners. Granted, the lineup can't offer the fantastic multi-threading performance or efficiency that AMD Ryzen processors can offer, but when it comes to overclocking and gaming performance, Intel still leads the way.

Currently, major retailers such as Amazon, Newegg, BestBuy, and MicroCenter have slashed prices for their entire range of 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake processors. The Intel Core i9-10900K can be purchased for $ 444, while the Core i7-10700K and Core i5-10600K can be purchased for just $ 334 and $ 229, respectively. The only exception is MicroCenter, where prices are even lower. Intel Comet Lake processors have also dropped in price at European retailers. The average price reduction for them is from 10 to 22%.
Undoubtedly, this will help Intel regain its lost ground in the processor market, where AMD has created a solid airbag for itself. But meeting demand is key, and Intel seems to be doing just fine considering how they managed to regain some market share despite AMD shipped a million units in one quarter.
