Borderlands 3 defenseless?

In the latest patch for Borderlands 3, the developers from Gearbox Software, along with changes to the balance and other small details, removed support for Denuvo anti-piracy protection. However, for now, the mention of protection on the page in the store remains in place.

Along with the patch, additional content will be received by owners of the Designer's Cut add-on. They will be able to participate in the Clear Skies mini-event, which runs until January 28th.

Also in the foreseeable future, Designer's Cut owners will have at least two more events. Extra Extra Extraction will take place from January 28 to February 4, and from February 4 to 11, players will find Gear Rush.
