Firewatch will get an adaptation

Information about the work on the adaptation for Firewatch appeared on the HollywoodReporter portal. Shoot Entertainment had experience in the production of games such as Battle for Terra, Little Monsters, and Blindspotting. Now they are going to do the film.

This is not the first attempt at making a film adaptation of Firewatch. Previously, the Good Universe studio wanted to start filming the film, but it was quickly bought out, which is why the company lost the opportunity to film the game.

It is currently unknown whether a series or feature film will be produced. The game, which they want to shoot a film adaptation, was released in February 2016 on three platforms: PC, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. In Firewatch, players learn about the aftermath of a fire that took place in the Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary in 1988.
