Leaked Lineup: Genshin Impact Version 4.1's Second Limited Banner Characters Revealed!

A fresh Genshin Impact leak has unveiled the lineup of five playable characters set to grace the second limited banner in version 4.1. Each update comprises two phases, each featuring a roster of limited characters available for players to obtain. These characters come in two rarity tiers: five-star and four-star.

In Genshin Impact, five-star characters are typically formidable units, but they come with a higher acquisition challenge, requiring a 90-wish pity. This means players are guaranteed a five-star drop within 90 wishes, but there's also a 50% chance it will be a character from the Standard Banner.

A recent post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has spilled the beans on the five-star and four-star characters gracing the second phase of the upcoming 4.1 update. According to the post, this segment will feature the new Cryo user, Wriothesley, and the Anemo Archon, Venti, as the limited five-star characters. Joining them are a formidable quartet of four-star characters: Pyro polearm support Thoma, Cryo claymore wielder Chongyun, and Electro character Dori.

Notably, Wriothesley is the sole new character debuting in this banner and is confirmed to be the game's first Cryo catalyst user, generating substantial excitement among players. His unique weapon and elemental combination allow him to apply the Cryo element with Normal Attacks, rendering him an excellent choice for Frozen or Melt team compositions.

Interestingly, despite catalysts typically being associated with ranged mages, recent Genshin Impact gameplay leaks suggest that Wriothesley prefers close combat, similar to the Anemo DPS character Shikanoin Heizou. Speculation has also arisen that this new five-star Cryo user may eventually join the Standard Banner following the conclusion of version 4.1, akin to the inclusion of Dehya and Tighnari in the same banner. Wriothesley is anticipated to take on the role of a new DPS character.

The second five-star character featured in the leaked banner, Venti, remains one of the game's most potent supports, despite being introduced in Genshin Impact's inaugural update in 2020. While some Travelers may favor Kazuha for the support role, Venti excels, particularly when facing larger groups of enemies, where his Wind's Grand Ode ability shines brightest.
