Producer MMO League of Legends shared new details about the game

League of Legends MMO producer Greg Street shared details on how Riot Games plans to introduce champions into the upcoming game. On Twitter, he was asked how the characters of the universe will be used in the MMO, whether they will have any kind of relationship, and so on. To which Greg responded with the following

So champions are a key part of our IP. They should show up there. However, we have a lot of them, and we want to put them to good use (to do something more than just a cameo), so it will be a while before we show anyone's favorites.

Riot Games confirmed the development of the project in December 2020. Since then, it has become known that the game will have a number of mechanics, but the creators do not want to overload the game with them.
