Rocket League x BMW - BMW M240i will appear in the game

The Rocket League developers talked about another interesting collaboration. This time, a model of the German automaker BMW will appear in the game. The car will be available to players for a limited time.

Players will be able to try their hand at the BMW M240i, a vehicle powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine. In the Rocket League, BMW will be equipped with an incendiary rocket and a Dominus hitbox. It is in this form that the BMW M240i will be ready to take off in the air in order to make beautiful assists and score balls into the opponents' goal. The cost of the new car will be 1,100 credits. The BMW M240i will come with branded wheels as well as a Thundernight metal decal, United IN Rivalry Animated Decal. The latter will change its color when it goes into supersonic mode. In addition, the new BMW will come with a Bavarian hat and a unique player banner with the emblem of the German automaker. The vehicle can be combined with other in-game Rocket League items. Other Rocket League models, by the way, will not be able to use the wheels from BMW, and therefore they will be truly unique for owners of the M240i.

The appearance of BMW in the game as a new game model is not the last reason for a collaboration between Psyonix and the German automaker. BMW will become the title sponsor of the second Regional Championship in Europe and the entire RLCS season 2021/2022 will be held side by side with the automaker. The tournament will now be called the BMW Rocket League Open.

Before the start of the BMW Rocket League Open, another championship will be held with the support of this car brand, the BMW Freestyle Tournament. The 16 best freestylers in the world will receive direct invitations to compete for the title of best freestyle rider and will share a total prize pool of $ 25,000.
