Virtus.pro, Evil Geniuses and LGD Gaming headed the groups in Summit 8

The organizers of the event announced the teams that became the first in the groups in The Summit 8. According to the rules, three participants with the highest Dota Pro Circuit Points rate will be the first to get into each group and will get the right to choose the opponents.

The prize pool of the tournament will be $300,000, and the venue of the event will be the mansion of Beyond The Summit company in Los Angeles. The peculiarity of the tournaments held by this organization is informal setting: all players live in one house, commentators work not from the studio, but from the couches, and the esportsmen can have a rest after the game swimming in the pool and entertaining themselves in some other way.
