Valve will carry out the season 2018/2019 as it was in the season 2017/2018

The organization has confirmed an information that the experimental hosting system of the season 2017/2018 will be moved to the next season.

Also, it has become known that three Major tournaments will take place in the last quarter of 2018: in October, November, and December respectively. There will be a pause in four weeks between them. Besides them, there will be a few Minor tournaments.

Let’s remind that Valve decided to change the format in the season 2017/2018, having made the receipt of invitations to The International more difficult. Now, direct invitations to the championship will be received by the teams that have earned the greatest number of Dota Pro Circuit points for their achievements in Minor and Major tournaments. The system had been liked by a lot of people and Valve made a decision to leave it for the next season.
