SL i-League Dota 2 Invitational Season 4 announced

StarLadder company announced the fourth season of StarLadder i-League Dota 2 Invitational. SL i-League Dota 2 Invitational #3 was the first major tournament of 2017/2018. The active champions of the world, Team Liquid, won it. Now, StarLadder decided to reveal the details of the upcoming fourth season of Dota 2 Invitational series.

See also: Virtus.pro, Evil Geniuses and LGD Gaming headed the groups in Summit 8 The tournament will take place on February 1 – 4, 2018 in China. 8 teams, 2 of which will get direct invites and other will be determined on the qualifiers, will participate in the event. The prize pool will be $300,000 and 300 DPC Points. The format will be the same as other tournaments had. 8 teams will be divided into 2 groups 4 teams in each, and they will play against the opponents in GSL system. After that, 2 best teams from each group will get to play-off with Single elimination bracket and play in b03 semifinals and the grand final will be help in b05 format. The open qualifiers will be played on the FaceIt platform on December 16 – 17. 8 teams will participate in each closed qualifier. The participants will be announced later.
