Valve has discovered that three teams have been awarded excess DPC points

Valve has made a significant mistake in awarding DPC points, which was discovered on the official Dota 2 website. As a result of this error, three teams - Execration, Nouns, and Bleed were incorrectly given 300 points each for their performance at The Bali Major 2023.

This was unfair because these teams did not earn these points as they were eliminated during the group stage of the tournament. To qualify for such points, a team needed to secure the 7th-8th place in the championship. Consequently, the addition of these extra points significantly improved the standings of these teams in the overall rankings.
