ESL announces 2022 Player, Team and Discovery nominees

Tournament operator ESL has unveiled the names of the nominees for the best player, team and discovery of 2022. The winners from each category will be announced between the first and second semi-finals of the current IEM Katowice 2023.

Note that the initial list of nominees for the award from the tournament operator ESL was approved by analysts and commentators of the competition. Subsequently, the best players according to the rating, the organizers chose the winners from each nomination. Interestingly, the compilers of the list did not separate teams and players by gender.

Earlier, ESL named the best CS:GO player of the decade, which turned out to be s1mple. The Ukrainian sniper of the NAVI team was awarded the corresponding prize during the opening ceremony of last year's IEM Rio Major 2022.
