ESL and BLAST may allow Virtus.pro to compete
According to the Dexerto portal, ESL and BLAST tournament operators may allow the Virtus.pro organization to compete under their tag. Recall that a little earlier, the PGL organizer allowed the club to play under the Virtus.pro tag at The International 2022.
According to Dexerto, the decision to display the team's name as Virtus.pro came from Valve, not from PGL. This event will certainly put pressure on ESL and BLAST to restore Virtus.pro's status in the CS:GO championships.

The Virtus.pro organization reportedly pushed tournament operators to lift sanctions as the club recently appointed Aram Karamanukyan as their new CEO.
Karamanukyan, who is an Armenian citizen, invested in Virtus.pro and took ownership of the organization's trademark. According to the club itself, its various esports teams "can and will compete exclusively" under the Virtus.pro tag.
This comes after a period during which the Virtus.pro Dota 2 and CS:GO teams were forced to play under the neutral Outsiders status due to sanctions imposed by the tournament after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The next championship for Virtus.pro may be Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR B. At the same time, the CS:GO roster is also preparing for the start of the ESL Pro League Season 16 playoffs, where it will probably remain under the Outsiders tag.
ESL is expected to make a decision on this matter shortly. In just two weeks, Malta will host the RMR tournaments for Europe, where Outsiders will play. The qualifying championship for the Brazilian Major will take place from 4 to 9 October.
