The first details of the Champion of Champions Tour qualifiers have been revealed

The dates for the open qualifiers for the Champion of Champions Tour tournament series for South America, Central Europe and North America have been announced. In addition, registrations are already open for the open qualifiers for Central Europe and South America for the first series of the Champion of Champions Tour. Only teams and players from the respective regions are eligible to participate, while regional competitions for Western, Southern, Eastern and Northern Europe will take place at a later date.

Qualifying matches in Southern and Central Europe will be held on 30-31 July and 6-7 August respectively. The qualifiers will take place in North America on August 27-18, in Southern Europe on September 17-18, and in Northern Europe on September 25-26.

Four winners will advance from each qualifying tournament to the Play-In Online Series, where they will join 12 invited teams. The teams participating in the Play-In will then join other invited teams in the main online stage.

Teams will compete in an online series for cash prizes and ranking points.

The overall Champion of Champions series system for 2022-2024 is as follows:

1. 44 open regional qualifiers.
2. 44 online tournaments.
3. 11 studio finals.
4. Global LAN Finals.

GRID and its founding partners FACEIT, Eden Sports, Relog Media, Fantyasyexpo and Black Molly Entertainment have jointly announced a new tournament called "Champion of Champions Tour (CCT)" which will run from August 2022 to January 2024 and will offer a prize pool of $3.4 million.
