AGF Esports say goodbye to their head CS: GO coach
On the official website, the AGF Esports management reported on the personnel reshuffles in the CS: GO headquarters. According to Rasmus himself, the reason for his departure was the desire to realize himself outside of esports. He commented on the situation as follows:
For a while, I wanted to get back into the business world and a schedule that is more suited to family life. I am very pleased with my time at AGF Esport and would very much like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to Director Dan Jessen, the players and the entire organization for the fantastic journey we have been on.
The director of the esports club Dan Jessen did not stand aside and also commented on FaagaN's departure from the organization:
Rasmus raised sports and organizational heights to new heights and showed excellent results along the way. We will miss his calm demeanor and sensitive attitude towards our players. Together with the other executives, I would like to thank Rasmus for the tremendous effort he put into being in the ranks of AGF Esport and wish him the best in the future.
AGF Esports announce that now their main vector for development is the youth CS: GO roster. The head coach's place will not be empty. Jonas “netrick” Wenzelsen has already taken over the mentor's chair. He already has experience of cooperation with AGF Esports. Previously, he was in the CS: GO roster as the captain.
AGF Esports decided to make progress not only in the world of the shooter discipline from Valve, but also in other esports directions. For example, the FIFA academy recently performed well in the seventh season of eSuperliga. AGF players finished 5th in the $ 55,000 tournament and received ~ $ 2,675 in cash.
