Ця стаття доступна наступними мовами

Raven Software has announced that the Call of Duty: Warzone map, Ashika Island, will soon be removed from the game's rotation in Modern Warfare 3. This change will take effect during the week of May 23, giving players one final chance to enjoy this popular map.

Call of Duty: Warzone, the enhanced sequel to the original Warzone, offers an expansive battle royale experience that evolves with regular updates, new content, and maps. Notable maps include Al Mazrah, set in a diverse desert environment with urban areas and industrial zones, and Ashika Island, a compact, fast-paced map. These maps are regularly updated with new points of interest and environmental changes, keeping the gameplay fresh and engaging.

The removal of Ashika Island is part of Raven Software's ongoing efforts to refresh and optimize Call of Duty: Warzone's playlist. By focusing on new map-mode combinations for future updates, the development team aims to create a more dynamic and engaging playlist that enhances the overall gaming experience. As players prepare to bid farewell to Ashika Island, Raven Software encourages them to make the most of this final opportunity to play on the map.

Ashika Island was introduced in Call of Duty: Warzone during the game's second season, launched in February 2023. Developed by High Moon Studios, it was designed for the Resurgence game mode, known for its faster-paced gameplay and quicker respawns. The map is set in an archipelago in an undisclosed location and includes diverse points of interest, such as rocky bluffs, industrial warehouses, a subterranean submarine base, and a port, providing varied tactical opportunities for players.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Updates and Changes

Alongside the removal of Ashika Island, Call of Duty: Warzone will receive a significant update with the introduction of Season 4 on May 29. This update will include overhauled bunkers in Urzikstan, featuring expanded interiors and high-level loot. The Warzone Urzikstan gulag will also see new silo variants. Additional features include the Buy Back Royale Solos mode, new public events like the Runaway Train event, and expanded rewards through daily and weekly challenges tailored for Warzone players.
