Paper Rex team members announced their move to VALORANT

Singapore-based organization Paper Rex lured its roster from CS: GO to VALORANT.

Singaporeans came to CS: GO in February 2020, signing the ex - dream[S]cape roster with d4v41, alecks and Bobosaur. Throughout the year, Paper Rex signed various players and ended up with a final lineup with 2 Singaporeans, 2 Indonesians and 1 Malaysian. The roster was finalized in September 2020 when Tommy and f0rsakeN joined Paper Rex.

At its peak, the team was ranked 107th in the world rankings. The disbandment comes just a month after the team had great success at eXTREMESLAND CS: GO Festival 2020 Southeast Asia and also finished second in the ESL Season 35 Open APAC playoffs last November.

Paper Rex followed the lead of numerous esports organizations that have decided to leave Counter-Strike to try their hand at VALORANT. Before her, such teams as Absolute, Alter Ego, Global Esports, TEAMnxl> and Made in Thailand left the scene.
