Version1 parted ways with effys

North American esports organization Version1 has announced it is parting ways with its latest VALORANT roster, saying goodbye to effys. Note that the 30-year-old Canadian has been part of the club since the formation of the squad in early 2021.

effys joined Version1 last February when the North American club signed NeverDone. In two seasons, the 30-year-old Canadian helped the team win the Knights Monthly Gauntlet - March and Nerd Street Gamers: Winter Championship - Open 4, as well as reach the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers Finals.

Moreover, together with the team, he took part in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík, finishing 5th-6th.

However, last season turned out to be a complete disappointment for Version1. In the end, the organization failed to get into the affiliate program, forced to say goodbye to its staff. As a result, the club sent wippie, penny and coach Immi to G2 Esports, while Zellsis moved to Cloud9.

The North American organization Version1 is expected to remain in VALORANT, but will focus on development with its all-female team for Game Changers. However, the club has yet to release an announcement about its future in the discipline.
