Split will return to VALORANT next January
Riot Games has released an official press release in which they talked about the changes that will await VALORANT with the release of patch 6.0. In particular, the developers decided to shake up the current map pool by returning it to the main Split list. In addition, according to rumors, a new map will also appear in the game, the details of which are unknown.
So Split is back! We know that many of you missed this map. Now she is back in the game, and she has undergone some changes. We look forward to your feedback - we are very interested in what tactics you will come up with on the updated Split, taking into account the current meta!
As for the Breeze, we think it needs to be tweaked a bit to make it playable with different lineups; besides, it does not hurt to simplify it a little. We want to update the Bind map from a strategic point of view: to add more options for using teleporters, and also, probably, to rethink the tactics of placing and disabling Spike at both points.
Безкоштовні дорогоцінні камені, а також щоденні, щотижневі та щомісячні бонуси!
We understand that many of you love these cards, but don't worry - just like with Split, they will be back!
The developers also announced changes to the Split map, which will replace Breeze and Bind in the official pool. However, these cards will remain in other modes, in particular, they will be available in Spike Quick Install, Custom Game and other modes. However, they will not be available in ranked and regular matches.
Split was one of three starter maps at the time of VALORANT's release. However, earlier in 2022, the developers removed the map from the active map pool in order to implement Pearl.
